Key Benefits
of USofA Truck scales
- All USofA truck scales are manufactured to the highest quality.
Each is NTEP approved as legal-for-trade weighing devices.
- Weighbridges have 5 year (or 10 year on ENTERPRISE
series) warranties against defects in materials or
workmanship.
- Most of our truck scales have no top openings that can allow materials to
spill onto the load cell area. Scrapers can drive straight across these
scale tops without worrying about top plates being damaged, broken off, or
removed.
- "ENTERPRISE"
series has top access, and top access is optional on other low profile
designs
- The hermetically sealed load cells are made of stainless steel, and
have a welded stainless housing to protect the electronics inside from
moisture.
- Grounding straps are provided as a standard component to
increase the safety of these electronic load cells from transient voltages.
- Each
load cell is a full 66,000 lb capacity (which is @ 4 times
the capacity necessary to support over-the-road truck axles) to provide
extra protection from overload and shock loading.
- Finally, each scale is made in the USA by union welders, many with
over 20+ years of experience in building weighing equipment. We believe
our production staff is one of the most experienced in the world.

series production facility in Terre Haute, INDIANA in Feb-2004. Up to 5
weighbridge modules can be in production at any one time. A new
duplicate production line is currently under construction. This will
double our production capability in the near future.
