DESCRIPTION OF
PRODUCT OFFERING:

Pit scale - Extra Heavy Duty Truck Scale prepared for concrete deck

Overall height 38" inches - Length 70 feet – Width 10 feet

4-Section (8-load cells), 3 understructure modules

Electronic Load cells, Stainless steel, hermetically sealed

Each load cell has a 66,000 lb capacity

Truck scale capacity is 100 ton gross capacity - 70,000 lb dual axle capacity

Concrete deck is typically 6" thick, optional 8" thick deck is available - it
is poured in as a single monolithic structure.

The deck is supported by two massive main beams with multiple cross
member supports. Understructure modules are rigidly connected.

NTEP approved and certified as a Legal for Trade Vehicle Scale
-
Long life cycles for the load cells are enhanced by flexible couplings between
the rigid deck modules. The load cells are located directly under these
flexible joints for minimal side loading and maximum accuracy
-
Wear and tear on the load cells are reduced through a unique rocker motion
that uses the spherical tops and bottoms of the load cell to automatically
return the load cell to its upright and center position. This rocker pin load
cell is an ideal way to introduce force into a weigh sensor. No complex or
potentially binding mechanisms are needed around the load cell mounting area.

Junction boxes and load cells are sealed from the environment, and can be
isolated from lightening with optional protective devices for those areas that
need them.

All load cell cable is routed through conduit to the junction box.

Self centering load cells and bumper bolts provide all necessary checking for
the scale, no staybars or check rods (that can cause binding) are necessary.

There is two (2) manholes provided for pit access.

WARRANTY is 5-years on the weighbridge and 2-years on the load cells (see
Warranty sheet for specific details)

NET 30 days terms are with credit approval from our Financial Services

5% prepay price is based upon full payment being received at EMERY FINANCIAL
SERVICES two (2) weeks prior to initial scheduled shipment. The customers
Accounts Receivable balance must be current at time of shipment (within terms
and credit limit).

Ship date requests of shorter then 2 weeks, must have prepayment wired to
EMERY FINANCIAL SERVICES checking account at the same time that order is
placed.
QUOTED PRICE
INCLUDES:
Weighbridge modules and fasteners, deck channel, load cells, base plates, anchor
bolts, leveling bolts, bumper bolt assemblies, transient protection bypass
cables for load cells, pit coping with bumper plates, FRP type NEMA-4 summing
box, conduit for load cell cables, homerun cable (60 feet) from summing box to
instrument, Certified foundation prints, as well as outline and installation
documentation.
ITEMS NOT IN THE
QUOTED PRICE:
Include
installation labor, foundation materials and labor, local and state government
permitting, shipping and handling charges, over wide load permits and escort
fees (if necessary), and insurances. For concrete deck pit type scales the
deck concrete, deck rebar and deck sheeting is not included and must be provided
by others. The truck scale manual details required components and quantities
for deck materials which are dependent upon scale size and capacity.
