DESCRIPTION OF
PRODUCT OFFERING:

Pit scale - Extra Heavy Duty Truck Scale prepared for concrete deck

Overall height 42" inches - Length 70 feet – Width 10 feet

4-Section (4 main levers), 3 understructure modules

Short transverse lever arm structure with stand prepared for load cell

Truck scale capacity is 60 ton gross capacity - 70,000 lb dual axle capacity

Roller mechanism are used in each corner to provide the system with movement
that prevents shock damage to the scale corner assemblies. The
ROADWEIGH-USA scales are protected from side
loading as well as end on movement.

Concrete deck is typically 6" thick, optional 8" thick deck is available - it
is poured in as a single monolithic structure.

The deck is supported by two massive main beams (24"-76lb) with multiple cross
member supports. Understructure modules are rigidly connected.

NTEP approved and certified as a Legal for Trade Vehicle Scale
-
Main levers are designed for exceptionally long life cycles.

SMA (Scale Manufacturers Association) standards are still utilized for pivot
and bearing sizing. The larger size of the components used reduces the
wear and tear on the pivots and bearings in the field.

A single NTEP approved load cell is isolated from transient damage through a
simple shackle arrangement.

Mechanical scales are configured for use with an electronic instrument.

Bumper plates imbedded in the pit coping approach is all the checking needed
with these scales. There are no check-rods to bind.

There is two (2) manholes provided for pit access.

WARRANTY is 10-years on the weighbridge and 2-years on the load cell (see
Warranty sheet for specific details). Wearing parts are not included in
the warranty.

NET 30 days terms are with credit approval from our Financial Services

5% prepay price is based upon full payment being received at EMERY FINANCIAL
SERVICES two (2) weeks prior to initial scheduled shipment. The customers
Accounts Receivable balance must be current at time of shipment (within terms
and credit limit).

Ship date requests of shorter then 2 weeks, must have prepayment wired to
EMERY FINANCIAL SERVICES checking account at the same time that order is
placed.
QUOTED PRICE
INCLUDES:
Weighbridge modules and fasteners, deck channel, load cell, base plates, anchor
bolts, leveling bolts, bumper bolt assemblies, transient protection bypass
cables for load cell, load cell mounting plate and frame, pit coping with bumper
plates, cable (15 feet) from load cell to instrument, Certified foundation
prints, as well as outline and installation documentation.
ITEMS NOT IN THE
QUOTED PRICE:
Include
installation labor, foundation materials and labor, local and state government
permitting, shipping and handling charges, over wide load permits and escort
fees (if necessary), and insurances. For concrete deck pit type scales the
deck concrete, deck rebar and deck sheeting is not included and must be provided
by others. The truck scale manual details required components and quantities
for deck materials which are dependent upon scale size and capacity.
